About:
Currently, I’m a junior at DigiPen Institute of Technology going for a major
in Real-Time Interactive Simulation, basically computer programming
with an emphasis on games. After three long years and a wide variety
of programming projects, I’ve discovered a passion for many aspects
of game programming. I find that I excel as being a generalist game
programmer, but specifically enjoy gameplay, tools, and user-interface.
In the spring of 2006, I graduated from Centennial Senior High
School in my hometown of Circle Pines, Minnesota. I grew up
playing video games at a young age, starting with the NES,
and continue to enjoy them today on the Wii and Xbox 360.
The two biggest games that influenced me to join the games
industry were M.C. Kids, and Ocarina of Time.
In my spare time, I enjoy biking the trails of Redmond on my
Trek 7.2 FX and playing tennis on the weekends. I prefer the
summer months, but I'm also fond of the snowy winters back home
in Minnesota. You just can't beat the feeling of walking over a
giant frozen lake.
